It was a weird move for Ubisoft. The developer made a big scene of announcing the next big project and held a live streaming event to get viewers excited. But, they directed people’s attention to a rock. Literally, a rock.
The stone wall did, however, feature a cave drawing of a man holding a spear and a bow with the words, ‘Survival is timeless.’ The camera slowly zoomed out every so often and revealed more drawings and everyone totally figured it out. Just kidding. IGN Turkey actually released the news halfway through the stream, oops.
Turns out fans can expect Far Cry Primal to come out in February 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One and later in March for PC. The game will allow players to take control of Takkar, a hunter who longs to lead his tribe through the Stone Age.
