Elder Scrolls MMO Announced

By: on May 3, 2012

Game Informer has revealed their June cover and along with a highly rumored game, the one and only Elder Scrolls MMO titled The Elder Scrolls Online.  The title is being developed by Zenimax Online Studios and is scheduled to come out in 2013 on PC and MAC.  No word of a console port, but the likely hood of that is slim to none at least on Xbox 360 due to their history of scoring big name MMO’s.

An in-depth look at everything from solo questing to public dungeons awaits in our enormous June cover story – as well as a peek at the player-driven PvP conflict that pits the three player factions against each other in open-world warfare over the province of Cyrodiil and the Emperor’s throne itself.

The game will allow players to scour Tamriel a thousand years before Skyrim takes place.  Not much more information is currently available but expect a teaser trailer over at the Game Informer site soon.
