Xbox One Launch Date Announced

Sep 4, 2013 by

Earlier today, Yusuf Mehdi, CVP of Xbox Marketing and Strategy, announced that the Xbox One release date will be the 22nd of November and it will launch in the 13 markets previously confirmed. This puts the console right between the PlayStation 4 launch dates,  November 15th in The United States and November 29th for Europe. Mehdi also noted that November 22nd is the same date that the Xbox 360 launched on back in 2005.

In addition to the launch date announcement, Yusuf confirmed that the Xbox One is officially in full production, the CPU clock speed had been boosted from 1.6GHz to 1.75GHz, and  the Xbox One: Day Edition has been restocked in limited quantities across all major retailers.

I do like how they’re releasing on the original Xbox’s release date, it’ll bring back that nostalgia feeling of when I got my original black box of awesome.
