Apparently, the rabid fanbase for Coffee Stain Studios’ Goat Simulator has been begging for multiplayer. I wouldn’t know, because I’m still convinced that this game, and all the media surrounding it (including a lovely review by our own Liam Lambert) has been an elaborate April Fools’ Day Joke.
But if this game does happen to exist, it will be receiving multiplayer in a free Goat Simulator 1.1 patch to be downloaded over Steam Workshop.
The patch will add an entirely new map, new achievements, and split-screen multiplayer so that all your barnyard fantasies can be fulfilled. Online multiplayer will, unfortunately, not be arriving with this patch.
The patch is slated for release in mid-May.
