Might No. 9 Delayed Again

Jan 25, 2016 by

Mighty No. 9 has been delayed until “Spring 2016.”

Comcept, the development team lead by industry veteran Keiji Inafune (best known for creating the Mega Man series), has announced yet another delay for it’s highly-anticipated, Kickstarter game, Mighty No. 9 to a non-specific “Spring 2016.”

In a letter to Kickstarter backers, Inafune sites network issues, difficulties working with multiple consoles, and an engine no longer receiving updates. According to Inafune, the team has been aware of these issues for several months, stating:

Over the end of the year break and the beginning of 2016, the development staff has been working on these issues non-stop without break, and thanks to their hard work the end is in sight. We continue to make progress to resolve these last issues that have been holding up the release of the game on the different platforms.
