Look, tons of people were disappointed when they played Star Wars Battlefront a few years back, and while it looks like DICE/EA are correcting most of their mistakes, there’s still little chance that it’s as good as the 2005 version of Battlefront 2.
GOG has announced that, starting today, gamers looking to play online can now do so, with the ability for Steam users to play with GOG users.
Previously, the game had been affected by Gamespy’s shutting down in 2014. If gamers had wanted to play the game between then and now, they had to use GameRanger, which essentially tricked your computer into thinking the internet connection was a LAN connection.
GOG also has the game on sale for just $3.99, so if you’ve lost your boxed copy, or never had one to begin with, you’re not going to have to break the bank obtaining a copy.
