Star Ocean: The Last Hope is Getting Remastered

JRPG fans who are looking to sink their teeth into something this holiday have mostly been left out in the cold, or at least since the release of Persona 5. To hold fans over until the release of Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, Square Enix will be releasing a remastered version of Star Ocean: The Last Hope this November 28th for the PC and PS4.

Dubbed Star Ocean: The Last Hope 4K and Full HD Remaster (whew boy), the game was originally released as a prequel to the original Star Ocean game on the PS3 and Xbox 360 to a mixed 72 rating on Metacritic (both by fans and critics). The game will be released digitally on the PlayStation store and Steam for just $20.99. Early adopters (purchased before December 12th) will receive an additional 10% off. Additionally, early adopters on Steam will also receive an “exclusive downloadable mini-soundtrack” featuring music from the game. If you purchase the game on PlayStation before January, you will receive a PS4 theme and 12 avatars featuring the game’s characters.
